Sista Sista! Whittney's younger sister was the most beautiful bride and just got married October 2019 in their hometown of Galena, KS. Macey is a recent graduate of nursing school and now living in Utah with her husband who recently graduated from the Air Force Academy. Macey has an infectious smile that could light up the darkest room and we can't wait to see it again! There is no better friend than a sister. Years known: 22 and counting!
Logan Burditt
Best Man
A brother is a little bit of childhood that can never be lost. You can definitely tell these Burditt Boys are brothers. They have a lifetime fishing partner and hunting buddy in each other. In fact, they fish in the weekly Lotawana tournament together during the lake season. They have won Big Bass of the year TWICE and are reigning first place champs in the annual Lake Lotawana Day tournament. Ever since they were little, Logan has always taken care of Baby Lyle. Makenzie Cranston

Makenzie and Whittney went to college together! ROCKCHALK! They met when Makenzie came to work at the same mexican restaurant Whittney worked at, Carlos O'Kelly's (COK) in Lawrence, KS. The restaurant is no longer in Lawrence but their friendship is still going strong! Makenzie was one of the first of Whittney's friends to meet Lyle! She is an accountant in the KC area and is one of the most genuinely kind people you will ever meet! Years known: 8
Cody Ables
Groomsman
Cody and Lyle both went to Lee's Summit North and Mizzou at the same time but they really have become closer friends in the years after college. Cody is a big hunter (shocker) and he and Lyle go out every chance they can during hunting season. They are both regulars at Captain's - one of the few bars they will both go to these days. Cody is polite and very funny and he and his girlfriend, Sam C., are one of the most fun couples to hang out with! Met: High School
Samantha Wermager

Sam was born and raised in Minnesota! When they met, Sam was needing to move to Kansas City from Rolla and Whittney was wanting to move to KC to be closer to Lyle. It was one of those things that was just meant to be! They were both moving from their college towns and the timing was perfect. Sam is an civil engineer and is one of those friends that is the perfect blend of honest, thoughtful, and fun! Everyone needs a Samantha in their lives! Years known: 4+
Chris Hamilton

Lyle and Chris were roommates for awhile in college. They have some of the best stories together that are somehow always funny no matter how many times you hear them. Chris has one of the most recognizable laughs you have ever heard, maybe because everytime you see him he is either laughing or smiling. Whittney and Shannon, Chris's girlfriend, just laugh when the boys get together because no matter how long it has been, its like no time has passed. Met: College at Mizzou
Natalie Updyke

Sam introduced Whittney to Natalie! They both ran track together in college at Rolla and all three girls were looking at living in Kansas City. Fondly known as the Girl's House, Natalie, Sam, & Whittney lived together for 3 years! Of course we can't forget Natalie's aussie named Parker who lived there too! Lyle loves to casually mention that he once "beat" Natalie in a foot race, but that is a longer story. Natalie works for a non-profit in the YMCA of Kansas City. She is an absolute blast to be around, and loves to dance just as much as Whittney does! Years known: 4+
Jake Ryan

Jake also went to Lee Summit North and Mizzou with Lyle. He loves to hunt ducks and geese and also turkey and deer at his farm. Lyle was a groomsman in Jake & Bailie's wedding where he got the coveted golden Busch lite can! It was such a fun and memorable wedding. Jake Ryan is truly one of the most genuine people you will ever meet. He and Lyle have that in common which might be why they have managed to stay good friends for so long. Met: High School
Katie Zastrow

Katie was actually placed in an apartment with Whittney by blind roommate matching. In true Katie fashion, she found Whittney on social media before they had even moved in to their new apartment. They hit it off and have been fast friends ever since! Katie is orginially from Wisconsin but transfered to KU (ROCKCHALK) and graduated with a business degree. She is fun, spunky, and always says exactly what is on her mind and we love her for it! Years known: 6+
Drake Taylor

Hunting brought Drake and Lyle together. They did not go to the same schools, but they both have neighboring family farms near NE Missouri. They hunted together for years along with their dads and brothers. About a year after L+W met, Lyle saw Drake at the local Temp Stop and learned he had moved nearby. Now, Lyle and Drake live in the same town and hang out all the time. Lyle was also a groomsmen for Drake & Heather's wedding which was one for the books! Drake is so personable and just the life of every party! Met: 1999
Haley Burditt

Haley has been married to the 'Best Man' for coming up on three years now. She is Whittney's future sister-in-law and mommy to the sweetest, prettiest, bestest niece there has been so far, Sutton Grace. Haley and Whittney like to get together for a girls night when the boys have gone hunting or fishing, which is a lot! They started a tradition of taking turns cooking dinner during the boys weekly fishing tournaments. Haley and Whittney are well known red wine lovers and often share a glass (or bottle or box) together. Years known: 4.5
Max Scharig

Max and Lyle have been friends for a very long time - ever since they were little. Their families grew up together! They are lifelong friends that share a love for snowboarding and all things candy! Since they have known each other so long, there are some hilarious Max & Lyle stories! I highly reccomend asking their parents to share one with you if you have never heard them before. When these two get together, it is nothing for them to stay up until 3 or 4am just catching up. Met: Childhood
