We would love to see you dressed to impress! The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal. Think skirts, dresses, dress slacks, blouses or collared shirts with or without a tie. Dress to celebrate, but no tuxedos or ball gowns required!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We love meeting your special someone! To keep our celebration intimate, we request plus-ones be limited to long-term or committed partners.

Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

The wedding party will be taking family photographs before the ceremony. We kindly request that you arrive and be seated no earlier than 12:30 pm for the one o'clock ceremony.

Question

What will the ceremony be like?

Answer

The bride was raised catholic so we will be celebrating a Catholic nuptial mass. The ceremony should last about 45 minutes. During the ceremony there will be a communion offering for those who have previously received the sacrament of first holy communion in the Catholic Church. If you are not Catholic, please feel free to approach the alter at this time with your arms folded across your chest where the priest will offer you a blessing. You may also remain kneeling in your pew during the communion offering if you are more comfortable. Following the ceremony there will be a traditional receiving line so we can greet and thank each of you for sharing this special moment with us! Your support means the world to us both!

Question

What do we do after the ceremony?

Answer

Following the ceremony, the bridal party will take private photographs. During this time, feel free to return to your hotel to relax and freshen up, or enjoy one of the many offerings of downtown Sioux Falls listed under the "Things To Do" tab. There will be a cocktail hour outside of the ballroom at The Catlin Hotel with a private bar and outdoor patio overlooking the river for guests to enjoy. Cocktail hour will start at 3:00 pm and will culminate around 4:30 pm when we ask that you be seated in the ballroom for the bridal party's arrival. At this time we will begin dinner service followed by dessert and dancing!

Question

Will dinner be plated or buffet style?

Answer

Dinner will be served plated according to each guests specific meal preference. A children's menu option will also be available for young children. You will see three adult dinner menu options listed on the RSVP page, two of which are gluten free to accommodate any diet restrictions. It is important that you RSVP by the July 4 deadline so we can ensure that there will be a place card with your meal preference available to you upon your arrival to the reception. Your presence is important to us and we want to ensure that we have a delicious hot meal available for you! At the reception venue, once you identify your place card, you may seat yourself at any table not designated with a "reserved" sign. Please make sure your place card is visible to the servers so they can see what meal you selected on your RSVP and serve you as quickly as possible. We are so excited to share in your company for an amazing celebratory dinner crafted by CRAVE American Kitchen here in Sioux Falls!

Question

What are the beverage options?

Answer

There will be a full bar with assorted alcohol available for purchase throughout the evening. To thank you for celebrating with us we will be providing complimentary keg beer and seltzer while supplies lasts. Complimentary lemonade and coffee will be served with dessert.
