We originally planned to get married on 10.17.2020 but COVID-19 had other plans! We made the difficult decision to postpone our wedding until summer 2021 to ensure that guests can travel safely and our wedding doesn't show up on the communicable disease outbreak list...We will continue to monitor the situation closely (we happen to have some insider public health knowledge in this family) and will keep you updated on any further changes as the new date approaches. We will have to wait a little longer but we are just as excited!
We met online, of course. Is there any other way to meet these days?! Brian's pick-up line was "It's nice to meet a fellow marathon runner" and Holly knew she'd found the one. After texting about epic adventures for 3 weeks, they decided they had to meet in person. Holly was 20 minutes late, of course. Brian selected the best brewery in Ann Arbor for the perfect first date only to be told that Holly hates beer. He immediately questioned everything. It all worked out in the end. We moved to Seattle in 2018 to be closer to the mountains and are probably never leaving (sorry mom!). We spend the weekdays staring at excel files (Holly as an epidemiologist and Brian as an engineer) and weekends exploring the PNW, by foot, skis, or ice ax. We spent the summer of 2019 climbing volcanoes and got engaged on the summit of Mt. Rainier. We can't wait to celebrate with all of you in June 2021!
