Whitney & Trevor, Forever!

But it’s the year Trevor and I met! My first day at Sunnyside was spent in Neurosurgery, where Trevor taught me how to do a spinal fusion. We talked about his kids, his new house, and our shared knowledge of surgery. He was a spinal expert, while I had never done any brain or back surgery, and I had to learn it all and be ready to be on my own in a week! We stayed friends, and when I came back in 2022, Trevor had moved to evening shift and we had a better chance to get to know each other as friends. We shared numbers when I left for Seattle, and a few months later, I went down to Portland and got dinner with Trevor. A few weeks later, he came up to Seattle. We spent time at my favorite places, watched some great movies, and finished the weekend with a day at the beach. We enjoyed meeting at the halfway point for lunch on our days off, wandered through lots of antique stores, took beach trips, and shared our first Christmas together with a new dog. When I got back to Portland the next summer, we started our life together! We love working together, love spending time with the dogs, and every day is filled with silly songs and laughter. We are so happy to be engaged and getting married, and can’t wait to spend forever together!
