JD and Whitney's first date was at a cocktail bar in Nashville, TN. When Whitney walked in, JD had already grabbed a seat and was waiting for her. Saving the seat next to him was a bag of red-only gummy bears (her favorite!). After a couple of drinks at the Holland House, they decided to grab something to eat, and Whitney suggested her favorite pizza place in Nashville--Five Points Pizza. After seriously hyping this pizza, Whitney and JD arrived at Five Points only to discover that the restaurant was closed for a private party! They ended up getting beers and grilled cheese sandwiches at the dive bar next door, and went to Five Points on their second date.

JD knows that the way to Whitney's heart is with presents, so when he proposed he led up to popping the question with a series of presents...a cherry jolly rancher, a bag of red-only gummy bears, a bunch of sunflowers. So, when he got down on one knee, Whitney was so excited she screamed "YES!" before he'd even asked. When she saw the beautiful ring (made with her Grandmother's sapphire), she started crying so hard that she went to hug JD and ended up knocking the ring box out of his hand! After she calmed down a bit, JD continued the gift giving and celebrations by giving Whitney a Bud Light, a bottle of pink champagne and a slice of pizza from Five Points.

Whitney and JD are getting married at Twin Lake Village in New London, NH, and they invite you to stay the weekend with them at TLV. Situated on 200 acres of hillside woods and gently rolling fields on the shore of Little Lake Sunapee, Twin Lake Village is a truly special summer resort. Whitney and JD have reserved the entire resort for this special weekend and hope you choose to stay with them.
