Wedding Party

Christine Robertson

Matron of Honor

Whitney and Christine were randomly assigned roommates freshmen year at the University of Central Florida and within the year became Best Friends (Whitney calls it Fate)!!! If you were out and about and ran into either Whitney or Christine - it was very likely the other was not far behind. They've been each other's plus-ones for countless family trips and have even traveled overseas to Portugal together. Whitney and Christine continued to live together throughout their undergraduate degrees until Christine moved to Virginia for Graduate School. To this day they remain close and although they may not see each other as often, their friendship is just as strong.

Joshua (Twig) Gagne

Best Man

Aaron and Josh met around 10 years old on a YMCA basketball team coached by Wayne Kicklighter. The Gagne and Kicklighter houses are less than a mile away from each other. Between time spent at each other’s houses, attending middle and high school together, and all the while playing multiple sports - a strong friendship was born. One of these baseball practices, Aaron coined Josh with the nickname “Twig" - due to his slender build and the necessity of multiple teammates named Josh. This continued into college where they were roommates for 3 years in Tallahassee. Although Josh now resides in Raleigh, they still talk daily and visit each other multiple times during the year.

Robin Sagastume

Bridesmaid

Whitney and Robin were playmates from 1st - 5th grade until Whitney moved to Stuart, FL. They attempted to maintain their young friendship with summer visits and MySpace chats with some success. As luck would have it, they were reunited in college as both were accepted into UCF and even requested one another as roommates. When they lived together for 2 years, Robin was responsible for the cooking and Whitney the cleaning. Robin moved into her sorority house, but the time apart only brought their friendship closer. Now, they only live 15 minutes from each other right outside downtown, Orlando.

Ryan Wisneski

Groomsman

Aaron and Ryan were teammates on the baseball team at Tallahassee Community College and quickly became close friends. Whether hanging out at Josh and Aaron’s apartment or making trips to Gainesville to visit Ryan's girlfriend (now wife) Sara, the two formed a brotherly bond. They stayed close when Aaron moved to Orlando and Ryan attended law school in NC. Now, they both now live in Orlando and frequently spend time together.

Natalie Sabin

Bridesmaid

Whitney and Natalie met in 6th grade. Whitney was new to the school and Natalie kindly encouraged her to join the volleyball team (a sport that Whitney knew nothing about at the time). The girls quickly became close friends/teammates and remained such throughout high school. Natalie went off to Mississippi for college; however, every holiday they would reunite and fill each other in on their lives. Natalie now lives in Georgia and will be getting married in March 2020 with Whitney by her side.

Jesse Welch

Groomsman

Aaron and Jesse met on the football fields of Blanchard Park next to River Park Apartments. Jesse lived close by and quickly became a part of the large group that often played sports together. Their bond strengthened after college, as they both worked to grow small businesses. This culminated with them working closely together and sharing in success. They both still live in Orlando and get together as often as they can.

Nicole Teplitz

Bridesmaid

Whitney and Nicole also met in 6th grade and played on a couple of the same school/club volleyball teams. Both had similar interests and spent countless days at the beach playing volleyball, traveling for athletics and many memorable sleepovers at each other's homes. Nicole attended Jacksonville University to play volleyball, but they've always been there for each other - no matter the distance. Whitney and Nicole now live states apart but each time they get together, they pick up exactly where they left off.

Michael Bakich

Groomsman

Aaron was introduced to Michael by Josh in middle school and the three quickly became inseparable. Throughout high school, they were often found downstairs at the Bakich house. Although all three friends spent time in Tallahassee - Aaron and Michael found themselves back in Orlando and became roommates for multiple years. One of these (River Park Apartments) is where Aaron would meet Whitney. They still live an hour from each other in Central Florida.
