Airport #1: Sarasota–Bradenton International Airport (SRQ)

The Sarasota Airport is a 20 minute drive from the Longboat Key Resort & Club. It is a comparatively small airport to that of Tampa and Naples, but it is the closest to the venue. Unfortunately, flights can often be more expensive, less frequent and not direct from your location. Check SRQ flights out first and if they do not fit what you're looking for, no sweat! Tampa and Naples have many affordable and direct flights from all over the country with several transportation options to and from the airport. The airports that have direct flights to SRQ include: Cleveland, Newark, and Washington D.C. (DCA and IAD).

Airport #2: Tampa International Airport (TPA)

Tampa International Airport is a 1 hour and 15 minute drive to the wedding venue. This airport offers multiple, cheaper flight options from across the country.

Airport #3: Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW)

Slightly further than Tampa, Southwest Florida International Airport is a 1 hour and 30 minute drive from the venue. It is the airport frequently used for Naples and Ft. Myers, with several direct flights and slightly cheaper than Sarasota.

The Resort at Longboat Key Club

Of course, there is ZERO expectation that our wedding guests stay at the resort. The Resort will have limited availability as it will be undergoing renovations in some of its buildings and the pool will not be available. Due to renovations, they will be offering a discounted rate: RENO2019. Option 1: Click on the "View" button below which will take you directly to the online reservations system. Select "I have a Code" for Rate Type and then select "Block/Group". Enter the discount code. Option 2: If you prefer to reserve a room that is not a suite, select "Standard" as the Rate Type. This option will offer Leisure and Advance Purchase Rates. Two bedroom rooms are large enough to fit 8-10 guests comfortably! We have 10 rooms blocked under the "Fasano Whitman Wedding" for each night (11/8 and 11/9) at a discounted rate of $159+tax. There are 7 King bed rooms and 3 Double rooms. Aloft Sarasota

A 10 minute drive away from the wedding - we have rooms blocked with a special group rate of $139 +tax for November 8th and 9th, 2019 at the Aloft Sarasota. You can click on "View" below or you may call the resort at (941) 870-0900 to book your room! Be sure to mention the "Fasano Whitman Wedding" if you call to get the rate! The deadline to book at the Aloft is October 8, 2019. Please let Nicole and Greg know (gregandnicole2019@gmail.com) if no more rooms are available - we will try to get more! Minimum stay is two nights. Check-in is at 3:00 pm and checkout is until 12:00 noon. Please be sure to let the hotel know if you will be checking out later. The hotel has a complimentary airport shuttle if you fly into Sarasota airport!

The Diplomat Beach Resort

Zota Beach Resort

Room rates are at a discounted rate at the Zota resort if you call (855) 335-1102 and mention that you are a guest of the Fasano/Whitman Wedding! Reservations must be made by October 10th and are valid from November 6-13th. The Zota resort check in time is at 4:00 pm, so we recommend you stay the night before. The Zota Beach Resort is beautiful and about a 15 minute drive from the Ceremony - 10 minute drive from Reception.

The Beach on Longboat Key

Another rental for units is available 5 minutes from the Reception and 12 minutes from the Ceremony. The Beach on Longboat Key sits Gulf front and includes all the amenities of a large resort, but without all the crowds and noise. Most of the units at this 15-unit condominium complex feature a view of the Gulf of Mexico, which perfectly compliments the modern, yet beachy décor.

Air BnB

November is popular time and part of tourist season in Southwest Florida. If hotel rates are a little too high, there are plenty of Air BnB options in family-friendly areas! Book a house for multiple families, or a condo for two! Plenty of options on LongBoat Key, Lido Key, and Sarasota! HIGHLY RECOMMEND LIDO KEY PLACES! St. Armand's circle and the beach are both beautiful and right across the bridge from the wedding!
