Like most modern love stories, ours began with a swipe! We both downloaded the app just to see what's out there and somehow our friend "Al Gorithim" got it right. After a week of getting to know each other over the phone, we decided to meet in person for the first date and it exceeded expectations. Although I (Alex) was super nervous for most of the date, and Rob super relaxed, it felt like we had already known each other forever sharing our love for sports, music, video games (Halo), good food, and most importantly our faith. Even after the first date we talked on the phone for hours after getting home. Something just felt different, but right. From that day on, we have been inseparable from spontaneous adventures like road trips to watch the band play at some amazing venues, try new food places, going to baseball and football games, and much more. We have not gone a day without talking to each other since "the swipe" and it has been the best decision of our lives. After 9 wonderful months together, he decided to propose in the sweetest way at one of our favorite spots in Galveston in the company of both of our families. We are very blessed and grateful that technology has brought us together, and even more thankful that we get to spend forever together.
