Head over the the Bodega Head and take in spectacular views of the coast. If you're hungry, be sure to stop at Spud Point Crab Company for crab sandwiches and chowder, the best on the Sonoma coast!
What used to be an apple processing plant, is now a hub of some of favorite stops in Sebastopol. With shopping, restaurants, bars, and more, it's a fun place to spend a few hours. Our favorites are Golden State Cider, Crooked Goat Brewing, and Ko Sho Sushi.
On the top of Buckley's favorite places in the world, Dillon Beach is must for a nice stroll along the water. One of the only dog-friendly beaches on the Sonoma Coast, Dillon Beach is always busy with furry friends. Pro tip: Go before 9:00am and parking is free, between 9:00am-5:00pm parking is $10.
One of Ryan and Katy's favorite places to run, Willow Creek has miles of trails that offer the right mix of stunning views and challenging terrain.
Where Ryan grew up playing soccer as a kid is now one of Katy's favorite places to get in a few miles. On the far side of the regional park you'll find ~3miles of unpaved trails that wind through meadows and wetlands. Pro tip: parking is $7, but you can park on Ragle Rd on the edge of the park and walk in for free.
Ever looked up at 300ft tree, here is your chance! Home to some of the oldest and biggest trees in Sonoma County, walk the nature path and be in awe at the redwoods towering around you. There is a $10 parking fee at the preserve.
Home to stunning views and Tule Elk, a species of elk only found in CA, Point Reyes offers many options for things to do. Hiking, kayaking, whale watching, elk viewing, etc. There is no entrance fee to get in to the National Seashore.
If you haven't heard, this area in California is world-renowned for its vineyards and wineries. While we are admittedly not the most knowledgeable about wine, we encourage anyone interested in exploring Sonoma wine country to do so and report back their recommendations!
