Question

Coronavirus update 8/2/2020

Answer

Coronavirus won another round. We will not be holding our in-person wedding ceremony on 8-15-2020 at Kennolyn in the Santa Cruz Mountains as previously planned. We tried to find a way to make the ceremony safe and fun for you to attend in person, but given the rising infection numbers and the risks associated with traveling, this was not possible. We're still getting married 8-15-2020! We are planning to get married as scheduled in a small family ceremony in Los Altos. We will stream the ceremony over zoom. We will be sending emails with more information about how to log on. Please know that we love you all and wish that we could safely celebrate with each of you in person. Love, Lee and Laura

Question

Why two ceremonies on different days?

Answer

We decided to divide the wedding into two separate ceremonies so that we could have different self quarantine requirements. For the Korean Paebaek we ask that participants self-quarantine for 14 days prior to the event. Some of our higher-risk (to complications from Covid-19 infection) family members will attend this event only. For the wedding ceremony on Saturday we request guests quarantine for 7 days.

Question

What is the plan for social distancing and keeping the events safe?

Answer

Both the Korean Paebaek and traditional wedding ceremony will be held entirely outdoors. On arrival we will check everyone's temperature using a non-contact forehead thermometer. Guests will be provided with cloth masks matched to the color theme of the wedding (green sage). You can also choose to bring your own mask to wear. We have 50 personal spray bottles of hand sanitizer you can keep in your pocket for frequent hand cleaning. Meals will be pre-packaged into personal containers. Finally, we will have ribbons for guests to indicate that they prefer not to participate in physical greeting (hand shakes, hugs, etc.). If you can any additional special requests please email: white.nahm@gmail.com

Question

How long should I self-quarantine before the wedding events?

Answer

14 days for the Paebaek 7 days for the traditional ceremony During self-quarantine, please avoid air travel, always wear masks in public, and work for home if possible.

Question

What's the wedding dress code?

Answer

Question
