What's going on with wedding plans right now?

Answer

Good question! At the moment, we are planning to proceed with joining in marriage on May 24th, but not quite as planned. Due to COVID-19 restrictions put in place by the governor of Virginia, we are unable to hold public gatherings or meet in groups larger than 10 people until June 10th. As such, we will only be able to have our parents and siblings present for our marriage ceremony. We are heartbroken not to have the wedding we've been planning for so long and to not have all the people we love most present, but we believe God is working in this. Because you all are so important to us and we want to celebrate with you, we will be holding a second ceremony and marriage celebration at our wedding venue on July 26th, 2020. We will still be exchanging vows and having our garden tea party, and will be lifting up praises to the Lord to finally all be together again! Please stay tuned for any updates or changes on this page, though we sincerely hope there will be no need for further changes!
