Wedding Party

Amanda Leslie

Maid of Honor

Amanda and Liz became close pals almost instantly when they met in college. In Paris, where they studied abroad together, they participated in an old-timey bike tour of the city with hundreds of people -and some of them were even nice to the Americans! They also traveled together to Israel where they rode a camel through the desert. Amanda, a world-class crafter, made many of the items featured in the wedding, including the bouquet. Signature Move: "Don't buy that, I can make that!"

Matt Hogan

Best Man

Brother of the groom. He has been there through it all. From backyard football games to hard labor at the concrete lab. From adventures in 4 continents to drinks at the local bar. It only seems fitting that he was with Andrew when the couple first met. Over the years their individual circle of friends have merged from separate identities into one big family. Signature Move: Stacked chips on the blackjack lucky lady

Rachael Harrington

Bridesmaid

Rachael and Liz met one fateful karaoke night when the bridesmaid showed the bride a dimple on her butt. The two then spent all morning the next day trying to figure out how to find each other to become best friends. They also shared a studio apartment for a summer and their friendship miraculously survived. Signature Move: Insisting on a Diet Coke and smashmouth

David Calloway

Groomsman

Dave and Andrew originally met and became friends in 1st grade, however due to school rezoning they wouldn't reunite until middle school. They picked up where they left off. Bonding over Redskins and Wu-Tang it was inevitable that these two would become lifelong friends. Signature Move: Raiding parents kitchen after hours

Alex Brown

Bridesmaid

Alex and Liz met junior year of college when Alex moved into Liz’s ‘fair trade’ dorm room. Despite every effort Liz made to scare her away, she moved in and they became bffs. Signature Move: Dating Republicans

Ryan Douress

Groomsman

Douress moved from Philly to Northern Virginia during Andrew and his 5th grade year at Arcola Elementary. Sharing jokes and quoting movies, particularly Chris Farley, the young duo quickly became friends for life. Recently their group of friends decided to rank the funniest members. While this would lead to some great debate at the lower ranks and ultimately a contest on who is the biggest jerk, Douress was a unanimous shoo-in as the top comedian. Signature Move: The Douress Waddle

Laura Brown

Bridesmaid

Yet another friend who survived being roommates with the bride, Laura (LB) and Liz have been friends for years, bonding over the world's greatest TV show, Nashville. Fun fact: LB took Liz to buy her first ever pair of cowboy boots. Signature Move: Breaking, spraining, or twisting her ankle while doing seemingly mundane tasks like carrying a bowl of banana pudding

Brennan Rader

Groomsman

Brennan and Andrew became friends in their early 20's in what can best be described as the Broadland's Pub Era. With the pub's renovations from dive bar to classy the era would come to an end, however their friendship would only grow. Signature Move: Rader Shuffle (If you stand by the dance floor long enough you will undoubtedly be a witness first hand)

Ashley Hogan

Bridesmaid

Sister of the groom, Ashley and Liz have become close friends since the couple met. The two first met at a family tailgate over Irish coffees and where one can only assume the Redskins lost. They have shared many great family trips, including camping on the Potomac in West Virginia. Signature Move: Volunteering as Whiskey's babysitter

JP Blankenship

Groomsman

JP and Andrew first met in middle school. They both played high school soccer together and roomed together throughout their college days at East Carolina University. More recently they, along with the best man, started Rotary Avenue LLC, a rental property endeavor. The LLC is named after the street they lived on in college. Signature Move: Wading down a river with Burnettes

Rachel Reclam

Bridesmaid

Rounding out the group known as "Pentagon" is Rachel, another friend from college. The two women shared many interests and activities, including working at chain restaurants and eventually climbing to the esteemed status of "bartender" at considerably better restaurants. An inaugural member of Tuesday Night Dinner (TND), Rachel secured her lifelong friendship with Liz through their shared love of (obsession?) great food. Signature Move: All the cheese

Jared Bickel

Groomsman

Jared and Andrew also met in middle school. Andrew moved to San Diego in 2008 and was pleasantly surprised when Jared was stationed nearby at Camp Pendleton as part of the US Marine Corps. Needless to say they painted the town red. Signature Move: Octoburgers and Tabasco Sauce
