The State Fair of Texas runs from 9/30-10/23. The fairgrounds are about 2.5 miles from the Joule. Highly recommend a Fletcher's corn dog and games in the Midway!

Gonzalez has the best Tex Mex in the city and has been a Dallas staple since 1973. It is right next to the Texas Theatre where Lee Harvey Oswald was caught. The flour tortillas and margaritas are out of this world!

This is our favorite BBQ spot, and is just a mile down the street from the Joule. Get there before they open at 11am to minimize time in the line!
