It's happening!

Our first date was over hot choco and then dinner at the Grove, in January 2015. We quickly realized that we shared many of the same values, interests and hobbies, and after that night, we never missed a weekend without seeing each other. You can find us hiking, biking and cooking and always looking for new neighborhoods / museums / beaches to explore! We especially enjoy visiting art museums and relaxing by Santa Monica beach. In fact, Santa Monica beach was where we had our very first kissed. ;) Some of the highlights over the years for us are starting a business together, travelling to East Coast to see families, weekend trip to Napa Valley and serving together at Hillsong church LA.

Andy proposed to Emelie on a sunny Saturday morning in Venice, California on February 4th 2017. He told Emelie that they were going to meet up Andy's friend that day. Upon parking the car, Emelie noticed that Andy brought the bright and hideous drawstrings backpack (so 90's!) , folded and tucked in his pocket. Something fishy is happening, she thought. We walked around the quaint neighborhood and then got on to a white wooden bridge in Venice Canals. It was there that Andy got on one knee and proposed. He had his photographer-friend (Unique) waiting for us and there were even a few neighbors waiting to see what happened and cheered for us afterwards. It was a wonderful day for us and a dream come true!
