We have chosen a more traditional form of the Catholic Nuptial Mass, one where there the utmost reverence for the Sacrament of Matrimony. Both of us have fallen in love with the Tridentine (Latin) Mass over our time together and we hope you will find it as beautiful as we do!
Guide books will be provided at the church with an English page on one side and a Latin page opposite to it. Specific postures (sitting, standing, kneeling) will be in red print, with responses highlighted in yellow. When in doubt, follow what we do at the front!
Please contact one of us or our parents and we can try to add rooms to the block. If not, we will recommend another hotel nearby.
Yes! Please let us know as soon as possible so we can work with the venue. We will also have a vegetarian option available for those that request it.
Our wedding will be adults only. Please contact us if you are traveling with children as we have a close family friend that may be able to provide child care.
Parking at the church will be mainly along the street. There is a small parking lot adjacent to the church with limited space available. Complimentary valet parking will be provided at Edgewood Country Club for the reception.
Black-tie optional. Tuxedo/dinner jacket (black tie) is preferred, but guests have the option to wear a dark business suit if they so choose. The wedding party will be dressed formally, with military guests in uniform.
Yes! Please visit our registry page on this website. We are registered at Zola, Amazon, Crate and Barrel, and Bed Bath and Beyond. Gifts purchased will be delivered to Washington, where we will begin our new life together after our wedding <3
We welcome fellow Christians to this celebration of the Eucharist as our brothers and sisters. Because Catholics believe that the celebration of the Eucharist is a sign of the oneness of faith, life and worship, members of those churches with whom we are not yet fully united are ordinarily not admitted to Holy Communion.
All guests will be responsible for travel between the hotel, ceremony, and reception (with the exception of the bridal party).
