We first met when we were flight instructing at Falcon Aviation Academy. We started off as friends and colleagues. We first started spending more time together when we became study partners for our CFII (another rating that let's us teach students instrument procedures). It didn't take long before we went on our first date. We tried to keep our relationship quiet at first since we worked together, but as soon as our friends and co-workers found out, we became "The Wheelers". I supposed they knew before we did that our new relationship was going to turn into marriage one day. Who knew that our love for aviation would help us find the love for each other!

One Sunday afternoon, Michael, my family, and I, ventured to a new winery. It's something that we all enjoy to do, so in no way was I suspicious. We enjoyed a tasting and then decided to go explore the grounds. My mom had noticed a covered bridge and suggested that we go take a few pictures by it. Again, this isn't abnormal for us so I went along with it. It wasn't until Michael got quiet that I had a sneaking suspicion that this could be the moment that I had been hoping for, for a long time. I don't remember much of what he said except that it was cute, awkward, and perfect and then he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! I obviously said, YES! We then went back inside for a toast and had a wonderful rest of the day making phone calls to all of our loved ones because we were just so excited! We are still so excited!
