Henry passed when Brian was very young. However Brian still has a lot of memories of his father. Henry was an amazing man, Father and devoted Husband. Brian has learned a lot from Henry. Henry is always with Brian and Shannon in Mind Memory and Spirit.
Betty (Crego) Whalen
Mother of the Groom
Betty passed a couple years ago but not before Brian could learn a lot from her. Brian and Betty were always close. They would talk every day and share every detail of life. Betty had the biggest role in Brian's life, after his father passed when he was young Betty assumed the unexpected role as a single Mom. Teaching Brian how to make it through life Betty was always there for Brian. Betty live's on in Brian and Shannon with stories, memories and spirit.
Paul Phillips
Father of the Bride
Paul is Shannon's father. He has always been, and continues to be, in Shannon's corner. He inspires her to believe that she can do anything if she works hard enough at it. Before every high school game, Paul would give Shannon a pep talk to help mentally prepare. This tradition continued into the college years; even though she was hours away, Paul would always make sure that he was there for Shannon any way he could. With Theresa, Paul has helped guide Shannon into the fierce, brave woman that she is today. Paul has been there for Shannon through all steps in life, and as she walks down the aisle, this walk may be one of her favorites with her dad.
Theresa Phillips
Mother of the Bride
Theresa is Shannon's mother. She has always been a confidant for Shannon no matter what the topic of conversation may be. One of the fondest memories Shannon has with Theresa is when she flew out to Illinois to visit Shannon while she was living south of Chicago. They shared fun times shopping, eating amazing food in Greektown and having meaningful talks about life. Theresa has always lived by example that some times the right thing to do is not the easiest or most popular decision; but it is the right thing to do. Though affectionally teased by being called "Mother Theresa", this is a quality that Shannon admires most about her mom. Theresa always puts family first and will extend a hand to anyone in need, welcoming them in as if they were family. These are things Shannon hopes to be able to emulate in the next steps of starting her own family.
Michael Falise

Brian has known Mike since 2004. Brian and Mike have been friends since then and Brian has been involved in Mike's family ever since. Brian considers Mike's parents to be his grandparents. Mike has been a role model for Brian since day one. There is no better person to be Brian's Best Man than Mike!
Nicole Serrano

Nicole and Shannon met in nursing school many years ago. As time has gone by, they have shared many laughs, tears, trying times, adventures and amazing breakfasts. Now both working as nurse practitioners, Nicole has been a true friend to Shannon standing by her side through all of life's ups and downs. Shannon is so grateful to have Nicole with her at the start of this next chapter
John Phillips

Brian and John met after Brian and Shannon started dating. John is Shannon's brother. Brian and John have grown into a friendship. John is one that both Shannon and Brian go to when needing to talk, need advise or just need to vent. John is always there for both Shannon and Brian.
Nicole Clay

Shannon and Nicole met through mutual friends one sunny day in Alexandria Bay, NY during Pirates weekend. They bonded over the sun, water and a lust for life. One of the things about Nicole that Shannon admires most is that she has designed the life she has imagined for herself and has followed her dreams and passions to fruition. Shannon is thrilled to have Nicole with her as she begins the next big adventure of being a Mrs.

Cory and Brian have worked together for several years now. From being partners at work to Brian helping to train Cory to hanging out outside of work. Brian and Cory have been through a lot together and seen a lot together.

Shannon and Katie met through mutual friends longer ago than either of them care to admit. Two Irish girls with a love for country music, dancing, and memorable fetes. With Katie, Shannon has the shared value of the importance of family: not only the family you are born into, but the family who loves you unconditionally for who you are.

Brian and Dan have been partners full time at work for several years now. The friendship they have gained during this time is second to none. Brian and Dan keep in contact and help each other both at work and out of work. Sometimes they help to keep each other in line.
Bryce Holmgren

Shannon and Bryce met while working together in the emergency department and bonded quickly over their shared love of sun, fun, God, and living life to the fullest! Before starting physician assistance school, they shared a stint as roommates, making it safe to say that Bryce knows Shannon very well: including how to get Shannon to function before coffee first thing in the morning. One of the things Shannon loves most about Bryce is her huge heart, cheeky sense of humor and ability to find the good in any person without judgement
