Alderbrook Hiking Trails
Nearby Alderbrook Resort has several hiking trails for all different skill levels. Viewpoint loop is just 0.5 miles and offers great views of the Olympics!

Encompassing nearly a million acres, the park protects a vast wilderness, thousands of years of human history, and several distinctly different ecosystems, including glacier-capped mountains, old-growth temperate rain forests, and over 70 miles of wild coastline.
Staircase Rapids Loop Hike
Easy 2.1 mile hike winding through old growth forest. Located 45 minutes from Union. Note that the road to the trailhead is unpaved with lots of potholes. Our little Nissan made it!
