It was just another beautiful July day in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. We would be introduced by Sydney's friend Mikayla (who is also part of the bridal party). When we met outside of Weston's apartment before heading up Buffalo Pass to camp for the night, we knew it was going to be a fantastic night in the mountains.

At the time we met Sydney was living in Denver, while Weston was living in Steamboat Springs. The next few weeks and months would be spent taking turns driving to each other on weekends and planning adventures around Colorado. Sydney later made the move to the mountain town where we spent the next 4 years living together, hitting the slopes, hiking, camping, taking trips, going to many Red Rocks concerts, growing closer to each other , and most importantly adopting our two cats, Ziggy and Dexter. Eventually deciding on a little bit of a lifestyle change (thanks Covid) we moved to Wisconsin to be closer to family on both sides and accomplishing our goal of buying our dream house together. Over the years we have laughed together, navigated life's many challenges, but most importantly grown together to create the perfect life we've both dreamed of. So naturally, it was an easy "yes!" for Sydney when Weston finally popped the question that rainy evening on September 4th!
