Meg and Jessika met in Summer 2018 during UCI as the two wannabe chemistry teachers. They have relied on each other for so much, from unit planning, surviving our first years of teaching in a pandemic, and now, helping Meg get married.

Wes and James have known each other their whole lives - they're cousins (for those of you who didn't know). They really miss each other, but still hang out on the Internet playing video games.

JJ and Meg met the Fall of 2008 while joining Phi Mu. Quickly bonding over being from the same state, they connected on a deeper level, involving many memorable NYEs together, Taylor Swift, and absolutely killing it, no matter what they do.

Brothers since Weston's birth, Wes and Mitch grew up together and they're the closest of friends. After moving to the other place, they did other things. Even after moving to other states, they still love each other.

Meg and Jesse met during the fateful Fall of 2008 at American University. The stories are many and the stories are great. From college parties, to marriage, children, and cross-country moves, Jesse and Meg will never let the distance be too great between them.

Another brother, from the same mother, Nolen and Wes spent their days doing stuff. Now, they plan on doing more stuff, now in Tennessee instead of just California and Colorado.

Chris and Meg met while both at American University and became very close friends after graduation. They've never been able to travel with anyone else like they have with each other! Whether it's NYC, Alaska, Las Vegas, Southern California, or Nicaragua (and now Tennessee!), when Chris and Meg are together, everyone has a fantastic time!
Kelly Dickey

Megan and Kelly met through the Orange County Alumnae Chapter of Phi Mu. They became fast friends, and coincidentally ended up moving to DC and then back to Orange County around the same time. Meg followed Kelly into teaching and, despite teaching very different grades in very distant states, continue to solidify their bond through the teacher profession. Kelly lives in Bakersfield and teaches 5th grade.
Heather LaPaglia

Oddly enough, Heather met Meg through her mom! Heather rented a room from Melanie during graduate school and was referred to as “that girl” who was renting out her old room. Meg and Heather’s official meeting was amicable enough and over the years has blossomed into a beautiful friendship. They hike, carry deep conversations, drink, and laugh together whenever they can, which doesn't happen enough! When Meg started dating Wes, Heather was one of those who had to approve. Heather definitely did, over an evening of making the most delicious chickpea broccoli tacos. After spending time with Wes and Meg at Melanie & Howard's wedding, Heather was so overcome by their love, she asked if she could marry them one day. Two years later - she will be doing just that!
