We’re getting married!

At college, we had very different groups of friends; his were forestry or science related, as mine were more hospitality and food based. We finally crossed paths and I quickly learned to bring a box of desserts with me for him and his roommate. I was told, “the way to a mans heart is through his stomach” and they were right! Between desserts and leftover food from classes, to eventually cooking him and his friends dinner; he wasnt getting away. Our relationship so far has been nothing but an adventure, and its only the beginning. 6 years down, and so many more to go -Jessie

The night started out as just another New Year’s Eve; a lowkey night in our new house. We had food, drinks, games and were having fun. We were sitting on the couch — I was trying not to fall asleep as I typically would, while Wes was being quiet just watching the TV. We started counting down to midnight when Wes looked over at me and smiled, got down on one knee and said, “I can’t wait any longer. Will you marry me?” -Jessie
