What is cocktail/semi formal wedding attire?

Answer

Polished and refined but not as formal as black-tie or formal wear Men: Opt for a suit and tie. A dark or mid-tone suit with a dress shirt and a tie is appropriate. You can wear dress shoes and avoid more relaxed options like sports jackets or loafers. Women:Choose a cocktail dress, a dressy knee-length dress, or a stylish skirt and top combination. Alternatively, a chic jumpsuit or a dressy pantsuit can work well. Pair your outfit with elegant shoes, and consider accessories like a clutch or understated jewelry.

Will there be parking at the Darien Community Association (wedding / reception location)?

Answer

Yes! There are over 40 spaces available at the venue. However, we recommend Ubering to the wedding as transportation back to hotels will be available 7-12 pm.

Answer

The wedding and cocktail hour will be outdoors in the garden weather permitting.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

If "and guest" or your plus-one's name is written on your wedding invitation, you can bring someone. See you and your plus-one on May 25th!

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

We love your children, but due to space restrictions we cannot accommodate guests under age 18 outside of immediate family. Thank you for your understanding!
