Nantahala Outdoor Center - Roswell Outpost
Shoot the ‘Hooch! An Atlanta favorite, take a casual tube float down the Chattahoochee. Arrange through the NOC to get tubes, pick up, and drop off. Be sure to bring some drinks and rent an extra tube for your cooler! The Roswell outpost also offers other guided trips. It should be beautiful in early May.
Georgia Aquarium
One of our favorite spots, home to whale sharks in one of the largest Aquarium tanks in the world. Don't sleep on the dolphin show and the animal encounters. And, if you're around Sunday night, the last two hours on Sunday are magical because you get the place practically to yourself.
Atlanta Botanical Garden
You all may know we have to stop in a garden in every city we see. The Atlanta botanical garden is a favorite of ours and one of the main contenders for the wedding venue. The Orchid display house is a must see.
9292 Korean BBQ
Atlanta has some of the best Koren food in the country - and 9292 is some of the best in ATL. Wes always insists on stopping any time we're within 20 minutes. Come hungry and ready for Soju, but not on Friday or Saturday because we'll have plenty of food at our events!
Avalon
Head over to Avalon for hyper-convenient shopping and dining. This planned community has a movie theater, day spa, pilates/barre studios, salons, and more. For a taste of Atlanta, check out Antico Pizza, Jeni's Ice Cream, or South City Kitchen.
