Please RSVP by January 22nd! This is very important to make sure we are prepared and can get all information to the wedding coordinator!
Yes! The dress code is spring semi formal. Greens, blues, pinks, purples, and floral prints will be the main color pallet we are focusing on for our guests. Don't be afraid of the word semi formal! We are just asking that you dress up a bit more than you normally would for a business environment. As stated on the invitation, please do not wear tennis shoes or a ballcap, these items are a definite no. On the invitation we did state that no jeans were to be worn. However, jeans could be acceptable if they are starched heavily, in good condition, and worn with a button up and suit jacket. This will be one of the most important day of our lives and we would like to have all of our guests represent that! Below I have linked a Pinterest board that includes male and female outfit inspiration and if you have any questions at all please reach out to Claire! https://pin.it/FdO1UBtXz
No you cannot. The gates will lock at midnight and they will not reopen so do not leave your vehicle on the property overnight!
This is an important question because weather permitting, our wedding will be outside. If we are being quite honestly, we are not sure. Its Texas in February so it could be in the 30's to the upper 70's range. Keep an eye on the weather a few weeks leading up to the event and the week of and make a judgement based on the weather. We would recommend you wear something lighter during the day and bring a jacket for the evening when the sun goes down.
Yes they are! Uber is cheaper than Lyft but feel free to check both before deciding which one to go with.
Yes we do! The hotels that we are recommending are the Hyatt Lost Pines Resort, where our families will be staying, and the Comfort suites hotel or the Best Western Hotel in Bastrop, TX. We m'ade a room block reservation at the Hyatt Lost Pines Resort which brings down the nightly rate significantly. The link and code for the room block reservation are located under the hotels tab, along with the links to the other two hotels. There are also various Airbnb's and VRBO's as well so feel free to check those out!
The ceremony will begin at 4:30 PM so please arrive by 4:15 PM so that you can be seated and ready for the ceremony!
Absolutely! Kids are very welcome at this wedding but please make sure that your child, or children, are listed on your invitation. If they are not, please contact Claire immediately so that way we can correct your invitation and add them to the guest list if possible.
No unfortunately you cannot because we are limited to a very small guest list due to the venue's capacity. Please do not bring any additional guests unless stated on your invitation.
We are asking that instead of purchasing a gift you instead contribute to our honeymoon fund! The honeymoon fund is located under the registry tab on the website. There are of course a couple of items that are also included on the registry in case any our guests are feeling exceedingly generous or still wanted to purchase a gift!
Yes. There is ample parking at the venue!
We are having an unplugged ceremony, so we kindly ask that you put your phones down and be fully present at our ceremony. Please save your pictures for before or after the ceremony.
