You can go ahead and dust the outfit you bought years ago thinking this would happen sooner, but in true us fashion, we did it on our own time. There’s love and marriage, and people in houses, but rarely do two halves of the same soul find each other in this crazy world. I understand how wildly lucky we are to have found each other at all, but to have met each other so young, and to fully grasp the connection was deeper than the teenage love that everyone told us it was. 9 years passed and it’s only felt like a fresh, crisp fall morning morning walk because we are truly each others best friend.
