Our Wedding Vision

Thank you so much for coming to our wedding! We know this isn't your typical format so we'd like to take a minute to explain our philosphy. Both of us highly value the relationships we have with each and every one of you. We are concious of the fact that in a typical wedding, it is easy for the day to feel like a blur with only a few moments spent with each person. Knowing that 95% of you will be coming from out of state or country, we want to provide a framework that gives space and time for us to celebrate and honour the relationships we have with you. This is why we are opting to have a multi-day celebration where we hope to share meaningful time together. Feel free to come to as many or as little of the activities as you'd like! We have invited you because your friendship matters to us and our wedding wouldn't be the same without you.

Registry

With the above in mind, we are opting to not have a registry. We know this is a large expense for the majority of people coming and your presence is truly the best gift you can give us. That being said, we understand some people may insist on some sort of gift beyond their attendance. If you are one of those people, we ask you give a monetary gift to a pool that will ensure EVERYONE can come. If you feel like attending may be difficult, PLEASE reach out to us privately and we will find a way to make sure you are here to celebrate with us! Once again, the biggest gift of all is your presence as we truly value our relationships with you more than anything.
