FAQs

Question

Boulder is a mile high right, what gives?

Answer

IF YOU READ NOTHING ELSE, PLEASE READ THIS! DRINK WATER! We cannot stress this enough: many people will not know if they have a problem coming to altitude from sea-level until they get here. It is advised you begin hydrating 5 DAYS PRIOR to traveling. We want everyone to have a good time and get nice and saucy, so please ensure you're drinking plenty of water and monitoring your symptoms. Symptoms can include: headache, dizziness, fatigue, nausea, shortness of breath, and an overall feeling of bleh. You are extremely unlikely to have a significant issue at our altitude, however it affects people differently and even fit individuals may experience moderate symptoms without proper hydration.

Question

I see multiple events, what gives?

Answer

Yes! We have several activities/events scheduled and more spontaneous ones will likely sprout up. Check the Our Wedding Vision page for our philosophy, but the short answer is feel free to come to whichever events you'd like.

Question

I don't see a ceremony time, what gives?

Answer

We are having a small private ceremony prior to the main festivities.

Question

I don't see a registry, what gives?

Answer

Check the Our Wedding Vision page for an explanation there!

Question

Is there a dress code...what gives?

Answer

No dress code! The Welcome Party is at a relaxed spot with drinks and food trucks, so dress as you see fit for that. The reception is at a farm, and basic wedding attire is great (aka no need for a tux but a suit would be nice). Maybe consider a wedge or chunky heel instead of stilettos so you don't sink into the ground. If you love a theme or vibe, think earth tones as a color palette. Ultimately, dress in a way that makes you feel good! Also, bring layers! Boulder weather can be unpredictable at times, so it's best to bring things that you can easily add and take off.

Question

My children aren't listed on the invite, what gives?

Answer

We love your children, and we love you. We wish we had the space and budget for everyone, however given our constraints the only children present will be immediate family and breast feeding infants. We hope this gives those of you who are parents an opportunity to have a fun relaxing weekend away with us in the mountains!

Question

Do I need to rent a car...what gives?

Answer

No! You don't need to rent a car if you don't mind taking a couple ride shares/car pooling with others. Downtown Boulder is very pedestrian friendly and there is a shuttle directly from the airport to Boulder. Check the Travel page for more details!

Question

There was a QR code to upload pictures and videos I took at the events, what gives?

Answer

Go to this website if you missed the QR code! https://share.picturesqr.com/tkdkny
