How do I get there?

Answer

So, it's a schlep. But once you get to the island, you'll realize it's worth it. You can find lots of information about traveling a few tabs over to the left.

Will there be a shuttle to The Sullivan House?

Answer

Yes. A shuttle will be picking guests up at a designated spot somewhere along Water Street the day of the wedding. More details to come!

When should I get there and how long should I stay?

Answer

The ferries can be unpredictable, and the schedules can be odd. We don't want you to miss anything, so recommend taking a ferry on Wednesday. As for your stay - Stay forever! JK, but imagine? We want to spend as much time with everyone and are planning a casual beach hang on Friday. We'll probably take a Saturday afternoon ferry back to the mainland.

What should I wear?

Answer

We're getting fancy, but not black tie fancy. Expect it to be hot, and to dance your face off, so dress in your most comfortable cocktail attire (suits and sundresses).

Is this a beach wedding?

Answer

Not technically. There are beaches on the island, but think less toes-in-the-sand and more cliffs and greenery.

What time will the celebration end?

Answer

Block Island has a noise ordinance, so our wedding will be over by 9PM. It'll be followed by a bonfire on the property that will go! all! night! (or until we get sleepy.)

What's the weather like?

Answer

It can be a toss up. July is usually the hottest, muggiest month on the Island, but also the perfect excuse to enjoy a mudslide or pineapple drink at Ballard's.

Where are you going on your honeymoon?

Answer

We're heading to Cancun for a week, followed by a Eurotrip in the fall!
