Fremont's Things To Do

Here are some good eats and places to go if you get into town early or stay a little later.

El Grande - Restaurant Mexicano

1013 West Main Street, Fremont, MI 49412
, (231) 924-7720

If you're looking for good food in a "sit down" type place, this is my dad's favorite restaurant in Fremont! He loves the "El Trio." The salsa here is amazing.

Spanky's Pizza & Restaurant

1042 West Main Street, Fremont, MI 49412
, (231) 924-6260

They advertise "world famous breadsticks," and they aren't kidding!! To be honest, the pizza is good, but nothing life changing. The breadsticks though-- those are amazing.

Fremont Lake

MI 49412

If you need a relaxing view, this is our little lake. Also, right on the lake is the Lakeside Swirl. One of the sweetest ice cream shops in town.

Koffe Kuppe Cafe

46 W. Main St., Fremont, MI 49412
, (231) 924-1046

They usually have an omelet breakfast bar and they always have very good coffee! It's a great little place to hang out and not far from the church if you're looking for a nice place to relax before the ceremony! Fun fact: The jewelry place across the street was where we first went ring shopping together.

Fremont Farmer's Market

Dayton Street, Fremont, MI

Wesley and I love going to open air Farmer's Markets, fairs, and such events. This is one I grew up going to and would recommend to those looking for something to do on the Saturday morning of the wedding. The Market is in the Market Place Pavilion behind the Artsplace on Dayton Street.

For all the days along the way
