The Wedding Website of Weronika Wieczorkowska and Dmitriy Yakubov
We were here, hope you will make it too! Some travel tips for our out-of Poland guests are below.

Flight

Gdansk Lech Walesa Airport (GDN)

The easiest way to get to Gdańsk. There are no direct flights from the US, but the airport has very convenient connections. It is also a short bus or train ride away from the historic downtown Gdańsk. You can also consider flying into Warsaw (WAW), which has non-stop connections to major US airline hubs and then taking a train to Gdansk.

Train

PKP (Polish State Railways)

They run throughout Poland. If you decide to fly to Warsaw or another city, this is the fastest way to get to Gdansk. Traveling by train, look for the station names Gdansk Glowny, Gdansk Wrzeszcz or Sopot Glowny as your destination, depending of where you decide to stay. It is worth buying a ticket a month in advance, when the tickets become available to book, to get the lowest price. Look for EIP (Express InterCity Premium), EIC (Express InterCity) or IC (InterCity) connections, these are usually the fastest and most convenient ways to travel by train. If you are looking for a real adventure and a budget solution, you can opt for the TLK and experience the traditions straight from the Polish People's Republic circa 1970.

Travel Note

Hotels and Airbnb

There are plenty of large hotels and apartments for rent nearby. The entire Tricity is very well connected by public transit, and Uber, Lyft, as well as Bolt (the local rideshare app) are all affordable and easily booked, so Old Town Gdansk, Sopot, and even Gdynia are no more than a 20 minute cab ride from the venue. Note that the end of August is still the height of beach season on the Baltic Coast, and Sopot is the most popular resort town in Poland, so prices there can be considerably higher than even in historic Old Town Gdansk, for example.

Travel Note

The Venue
