Our celebration will take place at The Acreage, located at 563 County Rd L, Palmyra, Nebraska, which is approximately 35 minutes southeast of Lincoln and 55 minutes southwest of Omaha. The ceremony will be held outdoors, weather permitting. The ceremony will start at 4:30 pm, and we recommend arriving around 4:10 to park, find your seat, and get settled in before the ceremony starts.
Cocktail Attire is kindly requested. Ladies: a mid to ankle length dress, a polished pant suit, or dressy separates. Gentlemen: dress pants and a jacket.
While we love your little ones, we have decided that this will be an adults only celebration, with the exception of our flower girl.
The Acreage has a spacious parking lot with room for over 200 cars. Parking is easy to find, and a walking path connects the lot to the venue. A golf cart shuttle will be available before the ceremony for guests who may need assistance from the parking lot to the venue. Uber does service the area; however, rides must be scheduled before noon on the day of the event, so please plan accordingly. It’s totally fine to leave your car at the venue to ensure a safe ride home, but just be sure to pick it up by 11:00 a.m. the following day.
We kindly ask that you RSVP before August 31 so we can provide an accurate headcount to our caterer, bar service, and other vendors. If we do not hear from you by then, we will assume you are unable to attend, and you will be missed!
If you have any dietary restrictions, please let us know when you RSVP. Hors d'oeuvres will be available during our cocktail hour immediately following the ceremony. Dinner will include both beef and chicken entrées, served with mashed potatoes, green beans, pasta salads, a garden salad, and dinner rolls. For dessert, we’ll be serving wedding cake with coffee. Throughout the evening, water and tea will be available, along with a bar featuring a selection of beer, seltzer, wine, and liquor, plus a variety of soft drink options for mixed drinks or anyone who prefers non-alcoholic options. The bar will be an open bar until 10 pm, then transition to a cash bar for the final hour of the night.
