Hyde Park Village is a little shopping village with fun spots to eat, right by downtown Tampa. Bri and Nathan love to walk through Hyde Park to window-shop or grab dinner and a drink. Some of the bride and groom’s favorite spots in Hyde Park are Anthropologie, Sur La Table, Forbici's, Bartaco, Irish 31, and Bouzy.
Sparkman Wharf and Water Street are both located down on Channelside in downtown Tampa. It's the perfect spot to walk around to find a spot to grab a drink and a bite to eat. It's right by Benchmark International Arena, where the Tampa Bay Lightning play!
If you love a beautiful scenic walk, look no further than this iconic spot that takes you right along the waters of Tampa Bay. On any nice weather day, there's a good chance you'll catch Bri and Nathan out on a walk or bike ride. Fun fact: Bayshore is where the Gasparilla pirate parade is held every January...argh!
If you're looking for a trip to a beach during your time in FL, we recommend taking the drive out to Clearwater - Nathan's hometown. If you go, you'll have to eat at Frenchy's and try a fried grouper sandwich...it's a Rubin family must!
If you're a rollercoaster or animal lover, this is a spot for you. Located in Temple Terrace in North Tampa, Busch Gardens is a great way to spend an entire day outside while you’re in town.
For all our aquatic (and air conditioning) lovers, Tampa is home to The Florida Aquarium! It’s located right in the Channelside district in downtown Tampa and right next to Sparkman Wharf, Water Street, and Benchmark International Arena. If you find yourself nearby, it’s always worth a stop in to check out some beautiful sea-life.
