If you are driving up from the San Diego area don't miss stopping by this amazing bakery which is best known for their bread! Kim's favorite is the Asiago Olive bread and Sean's favorite is Rosemary Olive Oil.

Great place for breakfast or lunch! Kim's favorite is the PCT power bowl!
Julian Beer Co.
Delicious BBQ, pizza, and beer! We stop here on all our trips. We even stopped here after Sean proposed!
Mom's Pie House - Julian
You can't visit Julian without trying their pie! Mom's Pie House is by far our favorite in town.
Shopping on Main Street
Main Street in Julian is full of little shops to explore! Take some time to explore. Kim's favorite shop is Julian Cider Mill for all the candy you could possibly want. Sean's favorite is The Warm Hearth which is a large 2-story store full of fun and unique items for home.
Julian Farm and Orchard
You'll be in Julian for prime apple picking season! While there are many different orchards out there this one was the one best recommended to us!
Mining Tours
Check out the history of the mining town of Julian! Perfect for kids complete with panning for gold!!
Lake Cuyamaca
Lake Cuyamaca is a short trip away and provides opportunities for fishing and hiking. If you are feeling up for a challenge try summiting Cuyamaca Peak (the second tallest peak in San Diego County sitting at 6,512') or if you would like a more relaxed stroll take a loop around the lake!
Volcan Mountain Trailhead
Volcan Mountain Trail! 5 miles Rated as Moderate This beautiful mountain looks over the wedding venue! Take a hike to the top and look down to where you will be celebrating shortly.
Garnet Peak Trail (aka the proposal hike)
Garnet Peak Trail via PCT 4.2 miles rated: Moderate Take a hike to where Sean popped the question and get a beautiful view of the mountains around and the desert valley below.
