Main Street in Julian is full of little shops to explore! Take some time to explore. Kim's favorite shop is Julian Cider Mill for all the candy you could possibly want. Sean's favorite is The Warm Hearth which is a large 2-story store full of fun and unique items for home.
You'll be in Julian for prime apple picking season! While there are many different orchards out there this one was the one best recommended to us!
Check out the history of the mining town of Julian! Perfect for kids complete with panning for gold!!
Lake Cuyamaca is a short trip away and provides opportunities for fishing and hiking. If you are feeling up for a challenge try summiting Cuyamaca Peak (the second tallest peak in San Diego County sitting at 6,512') or if you would like a more relaxed stroll take a loop around the lake!
Volcan Mountain Trail! 5 miles Rated as Moderate This beautiful mountain looks over the wedding venue! Take a hike to the top and look down to where you will be celebrating shortly.
Garnet Peak Trail via PCT 4.2 miles rated: Moderate Take a hike to where Sean popped the question and get a beautiful view of the mountains around and the desert valley below.
