We first met when we were both working at Kahoots Feed and Pet Supply. I was working at the Escondido location and Sean was working at the Murrieta location. Back sometime in 2017 Sean agreed to help open the Escondido store so that the manager could attend a meeting and I was the opening associate that day. Issue was, Sean was told that I would have the key and no one gave a me key that I could hand over to him. What followed were calls to the other key holders to get someone to come let us in. After that we only worked together a few times, with him visiting every now and again to pick up crickets. That is until he got moved to our location. Once again nothing really happened until 2021 when I put my 2 weeks in to hike the Pacific Crest Trail. In March we went out drinking with Sarah and Dalton to a tap room that was serving Saint Patty's Day Beer. We all got beers to take home. Later when I was saying that I was planing on drinking my beer at home on St. Patty's Day Sean told me to bring it and he'll drink it with me after work. I was not catching on and said I was not going to drink the beer in the parking lot. Apparently he meant for me to enjoy the beer back at his house and that's what we did while watching South Park and talking about my upcoming trip. After that we went out a couple more times before I took off on trail on April 17th. Both of us didn't know what it would be like with me leaving for 5 months, with very little communication, would look like and we were ok with whatever would happen. What ended up happening was Sean became one of the few people I would still message using my satellite device and he even came to meet me along the trail. First he met me in Idyllwild, CA where he met some of my family. He was also one of the first people I found when I had to get off trail due to injuries. He then picked me up from trail in Mammoth, CA, and then had me walk a few extra miles. It was here that I met his family for the first time after not having access to a shower for over a week! This is also the date that we set as our anniversary. A few days later and I met them all again in Toulumne Meadows. Since returning he has become my best friend and adventure partner and I'm so excited for this next adventure with him. *Sean Approved*
