FAQs

The Wedding Website of Ken Wells and Emily Smulowitz
Question

This is a full weekend event?

Answer

Yes! We invite you to come camp with us from Friday-Sunday. There will be some fun camping style activities and a wedding might just break out.

Question

What are the the sleeping arrangements like?

Answer

This is more like “glamping” than camping. Each standard cabin has 12 beds, but we will likely put 4-6 adults or one family in each cabin. Each cabin has electricity, fans, running water, toilets and showers. There are a few suites with private bathrooms and air conditioning; we are reserving these for our older guests.

Question

What is the food and drink situation for the weekend?

Answer

We will be providing Friday Dinner, Saturday breakfast, Saturday lunch and Sunday brunch in addition to the beverages and food provided at the receptions. We will have coolers positioned around the campsite with beverages on Friday night and Saturday.

Question

Can we bring children?

Answer

Supervised children are welcome at the camp, but we are asking that the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception be child free. If you are bringing a child, consider asking a family member to stay in your cabin with you and watch your children during the wedding. Please reach out to us if you are considering doing this, and we can provide additional details and guidance.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

For the camp portion, there is no dress code. For the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception, the dress code is semi-formal. This will be an outdoor wedding in May; the weather may end up being ideal, or it could end up being hot or chilly. Dress accordingly.

Question

What is the cost for meals and accommodations?

Answer

Nothing; it is included in the venue rental. You may want to bring extra snacks or drinks if you want something specific.

Question

What things should I bring?

Answer

Pack for 2 days of easy camping and one wedding. You will need to bring linens for a twin mattress (or sleeping bag), a pillow, and a towel.

Question

I can’t make the weekend but will be there for the ceremony, is this ok?

Answer

Sure! Just check the RSVP page and fill the details in as accurately as possible. Reach out if your plans change!

Question

Do you have a hotel block?

Answer

No- we are not arranging a block or transportation with local hotels. We’d love to have you stay on site, but if you cannot , you’ll need to handle it on your own. The closest hotels are the Hampton Inn and the Holiday Inn Express, both located about 15 minutes drive away in Limerick.

Question

What arrangements can be made for those with mobility issues?

Answer

We will have a golf cart on site that can assist our friends who need it. Please reach out to us if you have questions.

Question

What sort of fun activities will there be at the campsite?

Answer

A full schedule will be provided when you arrive. Some things will be a surprise, but plan on there being swimming, sports, zip lining, bonfires, and other summer camp style activities.
