Please RSVP either yes or no by August 18, 2025 by clicking the "RSVP" tab on the website above once it becomes available (after formal invitations are sent). To help with planning purposes, as this is a destination wedding--if you know in advance you won't be able to attend, feel free to reach out directly to the bride and/or groom early. Thank you!
We ask you to arrive no later than 30 minutes prior to the ceremony, but we recommend arriving closer to an hour prior to provide ample time for parking, etc. Be aware that October can be a busy time for the national park, so definitely allow for plenty of time to get to Beetle Rock.
We would love to see everyone dress up for our big day and ask that everyone wear cocktail/semi-formal wear. For example, dresses, jumpsuits, and suits & ties are all appropriate options. Earth tones (greens, browns, rust, etc.) are preferred but not required. We ask that you avoid white, ivory, and cream colors. Weather permitting, both the ceremony and reception will be outdoors. The ceremony location is a short walk (less than 0.25 mile) away from the parking lot, but be aware that there may be uneven surfaces so I would recommend relatively comfortable shoes.
We are having an intimate destination wedding, and we are only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. We have chosen to make our event adults-only, and encourage you to use this as an extended weekend getaway. Thank you for understanding and making arrangements so you are able to celebrate with us!
We feel so blessed that you are able to be present with us during our special day, and we appreciate the time and money that you are spending in order to celebrate with us. While gifts are not expected and we are just grateful for your presence on the most important day of our lives, we do have a registry tab on our website. Because this is a destination wedding, we are asking that no tangible gifts be brought to CA to make travel easier for all of us!
Yes! Beer, wine & champagne are all included. Liquor laws prevent the venue from selling hard liquor but everything else is on us. Non-alcoholic drink options will also be provided!
Because Sequoia National Park & surrounding areas are in the Pacific Daylight Time zone, they are typically 3 hours behind Eastern Time zone. Just follow local time for all events (your clocks on phones, etc. should change automatically).
Unfortunately we are not able to provide transportation/a shuttle for guests. Please drive safely & responsibly, and do not drink and drive. There will be sober drivers available if you need a ride, and Uber/Lyft/taxis may be available but are very limited.
