The hotel has said early check-in is their top priority for our guests on Friday the 16th. 1. The welcome bag given to you upon arrival has YOUR specific itinerary and scheduled wagon time for when you will head up the mountain to the ceremony. Meet in front by the flag pole. We will have greeters to guide you. It is a wagon ride up or golf cart ride as needed. 2.If you have any questions, please contact our wedding planner Lucia at 913-378-6488. 3. Masks will be required throughout the wedding activities, please respect the requirement. ***4. DRINK A LOT OF WATER WHILE IN COLORADO AND IN THE MOUNTAINS!!!!! You will be at a high altitude and NEED TO BE DRINKING A LOT OF WATER to avoid altitude sickness.

As of 8/21/2020, we have made the tough decision to hold a small intimate wedding in Colorado with close friends and family. We plan to hold a reception back in Minnesota to celebrate our marriage at a later date to be determined. Our Colorado mountain top wedding will be live streamed. It was News Year Eve and we were at Disney World in Florida with Michael's family, more specifically the Epcot park. The group had found a perfect spot to watch the firework show and count down into the New Year. During the firework show, Michael was standing behind Katie with his arms wrapped around her. The fireworks stopped and the park began to count down from 10...and Michael began his "love speech" to Katie. He told her how much he loved her and wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. The park reached 1 on the count down and everyone began to celebrate the New Year. Michael turned her around and her deeply kissed her. THEN he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. She nodded yes with a big smile on my face. Michael popped up off his knee and embraced me in a romantic kiss and hug. The fireworks started again and the entire Epcot park continued to celebrate the New Year. Katie and Michael continued their intimate moment. Michael's family congratulated them in a big family hug with excitement. Pictures were taken of the proposal and a few afterwards. The couple is SO excited to spend their lives together. Katie and Michael celebrated their engagement in Disney Springs with a nice dinner, a bottle of wine, and of course desert.
