Formal invitations will be sent closer to the wedding with RSVP details included. However, if you already know you won’t be able to attend, please feel free to let us know in advance.
We ask that our guests wear semi-formal attire. This generally includes knee- or midi-length dresses, cocktail dresses, casual suits (with or without ties), sport coats with button-downs, and slacks. There is no formal color palette. Please wear whatever makes you feel your best! The event is entirely outdoors, so plan for late July weather in the redwoods. The venue is often breezy throughout the day, so you may wish to bring a light layer for the evening. While most areas will have solid ground, there is some grass, so we recommend block heels, wedges, or flats for comfort.
Absolutely! There will be alcoholic beverages served, but we expect it will be a family-friendly event for all ages.
Yes! Shuttles will be provided for guests traveling to and from Sydalyn Hill. The first pickup will be at the Hilton Santa Cruz/Scotts Valley, followed by St. John’s Catholic Church at the bottom of the hill, where guests may leave their cars if they’re driving. St. John's Catholic Church 120 Russell Ave Felton, CA 95018 Because parking at the venue is limited, we kindly ask all guests to arrive by shuttle.
Yes, both the ceremony and reception will be held outdoors at Sydalyn Hill, so guests can relax and enjoy the celebration all in one place.
