We're getting married (again)

We are delighted to be celebrating our wedding in beautiful Yorkshire, England! While we legally tied the knot on September 18, 2024, at the British Embassy in Beijing, we wanted to share this joyous occasion with our friends and family, which is why we’re hosting another ceremony and celebration! You are someone who brings joy and love into our lives, and having you there would mean the world to us. Yorkshire, Nathan’s hometown area, holds a special place in his heart and has now become deeply meaningful to both of us. We are thrilled to welcome you to this beautiful corner of England to share in our happiness. We understand that traveling internationally may be a challenge for some of our guests, and we completely understand if you cannot make the journey. Rachel and Nathan first met in Beijing, China in 2019. Rachel, from Texas, USA, moved to a little city in China in 2015 and then to Beijing in 2018. Nathan, from Barnsley, UK, came to China in 2017 for Kung Fu training and moved to Beijing in 2018. They met in 2019 at their favorite French bar in Beijing, Café De La Poste (RIP), and soon began running into each other around the city. After forming a friendship of many months, they grew closer and eventually fell in love, officially starting their relationship on May 23, 2020. They remained in China throughout COVID, and finally had the opportunity to visit each other's families in 2023. Rachel first went to England in January 2023, where they had a quick but wonderful visit around Barnsley, Leeds, York, and London. Then in October 2023, Nathan visited the US to meet Rachel’s family, and while there, secretly planned his proposal. On October 9, 2023, in Central Park, NYC, Nathan proposed, and Rachel said, "Yes!" Rachel and Nathan were married at the British Embassy in Beijing on September 18, 2024, and are now excited to celebrate again in Nathan's beloved Yorkshire, England in 2025 with family and friends!
