We have Hinge to thank for our fairytale (thank goodness we swiped right!). Our first date was at The Thunderbird bar on the West Side. We spent the date chatting, laughing, and watching the Lakers game. The next year was spent traveling, eating out, hanging with friends, meeting each other's families, and falling in love. We bonded over our love of sports (though we're often rivals, we've found a way to do it lovingly), traveling, eating, making fun of each other, and binging TV. Then COVID hit - so we decided we wanted to be a bubble and moved in together. Thankfully, our joint interests gave us plenty of things to bond over and we survived the crash course in moving in together. But we needed more space, so at the end of 2021 we bought our first home and that's when it started to feel like forever was starting. In our time together so far, we've attended 5 family weddings, welcomed 5 of our 6 nieces and nephews into the world, and traveled to 11 countries, 7 National Parks, and 10 US states. We've attended baseball, basketball, football, soccer, and hockey games. And on a drizzly weekend in the desert, on January 20th, 2024, Jordan executed a perfect surprise and gave Mallory the most gorgeous ring as he got down on one knee. 5 months later (almost to the day), Mallory converted to Judaism. We can't wait to say 'I Do' and start our next adventure as Mr. and Mrs. Grant.
