Looking for something a bit larger? Don't want one of the awesome gift packages the wedding block is going to get? No skin off our backs! Airbnb may be illegal in NYC but Sonders are whole apartments you can rent out. There are a bunch in Manhattan and one(ish) in (close-ish) Brooklyn. We've never stayed at one in NY but we've had pretty favorable experiences with them elsewhere! Caveat emptor!
Train
Look guys. The MTA is really not going our way here. For the wedding, we enter through the Southern Boulevard entrance at the Zoo. It's....not super close to public transit. Want to throw caution to the wind? Take the 2 train to Pelham Parkway. See if they'll let you in through the Bronx River entrance (Gate B). Wear fancy clothes and they just might! How about a bus? Express bus that is. BxM11 to be exact. The BxM11 express bus makes stops along Madison Avenue, between 26th and 99th Streets, then travels directly to the Zoo's Bronx River entrance (Gate B). Please note, fare for an Express Bus ride is $6.75 each direction.
