Jacob's mom took us here during one of our visits and we absolutely loved the cool air, amazing views and nice hike through the hills. You can also enjoy a nice seafood lunch close by on the water!
Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve
Less than a 10 minute drive north of The Stavrand, admire 1,400-year-old majestic trees and enjoy a hike around the park!
Northwood Golf Club
Less than a 10 minute drive from The Stavrand, play a round at Northwood consistently rated as one of the best short courses in the world. Designed by the famous Dr. Alister MacKenzie (who also created the Augusta National), this unique and beautiful course is set amidst the towering Redwoods.
Wineries
Explore the renowned Russian River Valley, with dozens of wineries within a 30-minute driving radius. Healdsburg Town Square
From art galleries, to shopping, to wineries and some of the finest dining in the area, Healdsburg has it all! Fun fact - this is also where Jacob was born and spending time here is consistently one of our favorite things to do when we visit. The perfect place to spend an afternoon about a ~30 minute drive from The Stavrand :)
