How do I get to the venue?

Answer

If you do not already have transportation plans for your arrival at the venue, we recommend pre-booking a cab for your group. Country Hire and Go is the local company we have been working with and they are familiar with our venue. Their number is +447723 054863 and their website is http://www.countryhireandgo.com/

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 2pm, so we encourage all our full-day guests to arrive by 1:30 pm at the latest to allow time to walk from the entrance to where the ceremony will be held and find seating.

Is there transportation back to the hotel from the venue?

Answer

Transportation will be provided returning guests to the hotel at the end of the evening. For initial arrival at the venue, we recommend guests take cabs or carpool. Please note, this is a rural location. If you are planning to take a cab at any point in the evening, please make sure to arrange it in advance.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, the dress code is formal. Suits for men and tea- or floor-length gowns for women are perfect, we look forward to celebrating with you in style!

I am American, do I need a Visa to enter the UK?

Answer

Yes! If you are traveling from the US, you will need a visa to enter the UK. This is a new policy, so if you have not been to the UK in the last year, you will need to apply for one. The process is very simple and inexpensive, but please do make sure to apply (via the official government website, https://www.gov.uk/eta) when you purchase your plane tickets to avoid any issues entering the country. Are photos allowed?

We would prefer our guests refrain from taking photos or videos on personal devices. Please relax and enjoy the day, our photographer will be capturing all the special moments and we are more than happy to share the photos with everyone when they are available.

Are children allowed?

Answer

Children named on the invitation are welcome! If you plan to bring anyone under the age of 10 with you, please discuss your plans with us so we can make sure to accommodate your family appropriately. We also have a quiet room at the venue reserved for kids to have a space to relax during the evening as needed. If you have any questions, please reach out!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Absolutely. It is very important to us that everyone has an enjoyable meal; if you have any dietary restrictions, please reach out to us as soon as possible so we can ensure you are accommodated.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to strict limitations on the number of guests we are allowed to seat inside the castle, please only bring guests named on the invitation.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Yes, there is a large gravel parking lot available to guests on the castle grounds.
