The short answer is... We don't know. Currently our county is in the Orange tier and trending towards the Yellow tier. This means more and more things are beginning to open up and there are fewer restrictions on events. Our venue is entirely outdoors. They have stated that guests who have been vaccinated or have had a negative test in the 48 hours prior to the wedding will not be required to wear a mask, and other guests that don't meet that criteria will be expected to wear masks. However, the venue will not be actively enforcing this policy and we will not be policing people on our wedding day either. We want our guests to be comfortable, and we will leave what that looks like up to you. As we get closer to our wedding date we will hopefully learn more about what we can/ cannot do and what is expected. Stay tuned and we appreciate your patience! Updated 5/5/21
Absolutely! We love your children and would love to have them celebrate our big day with us. There will be some activities to keep small hands busy and plenty of dancing, however due to budget restrictions we will not be providing babysitting services at our wedding.
Please arrive no later than 30 minutes prior to ceremony start time to allow for time for parking and finding a seat. The wedding ceremony will begin promptly at 3:30 pm, don't be that person walking down the aisle after the bride!
Yes, our venue provides ample parking. We do insist that if you are intending on drinking (it is an open bar) to please find a designated driver or use a taxi/ safe ride service.
Your presence is present enough, however if you are feeling particularly generous we are registered through Zola. We are especially blessed and do not find ourselves in need of anything in particular. Instead, we have requested specific cash funds. You can find more information and our registry on this website under the 'registry' tab.
Our dress recommendation is 'cocktail casual'. This means dresses, jumpsuits, slacks and light jackets are recommended. Additionally, our wedding venue is all outdoor. You may want to bring a sweater or jacket for the evening. We also recommend guests wear comfortable shoes, as the outdoor spaces are unpaved (and to dance the night away!).
Due to budget restrictions, we ask that unless your invitation included a plus one, please refrain from bringing an extra guest. Thank you for your understanding.
For our out of town guests, there are a variety of hotel and Airbnb options. While we do not have a hotel block reserved, we do recommend staying at the Agrarian Hotel in Arroyo Grande. You can find more information under our 'travel' page on this website.
