Miranda met Karlie freshman year of high school on their cheer squad, next year they had photography class together and began becoming closer friends. By junior year, they were inseparable. Fast forward 10 years later and they are still best friends. Karlie is now the godmother to Mariposa and Miranda couldn’t image a better person to help with everything to make her day special !

Fala and Elijah met in 2014 when his cousin Nate brought him over to Fala's house. They have been kicking it ever since. Elijah also convinced Fala to start rapping and their love of music and their common business ventures made them close friends. Elijah is excited to have him by his side through his next chapter of his life, even though they now live it different cities. #BAM
Jazzmin Johnson (Jazz)

Jazz and Miranda met in their college sorority, Phi Sigma Sigma. Through study groups, attempted dance routines, and of course college parties they became very close. To this day, Jazz is one of Miranda's closest friends and can count on her for anything. She drove from Fresno to Los Angeles for Mariposa's Baptism after a COVID reschedule and recent injury. Miranda is very excited to have her by her side for her special day.

Sam and Elijah met through one of Elijah and Fala's business ventures back in 2016. Sam often hung-out around Fala's house, spending nights would hang out all night long. To this day, Sam and Elijah often play video games together since they live 400 miles away from each other. He also lets our family stay with him when we visit. He is one of the selfless people you will ever meet.

Alyssa and Miranda met at Trinity Law School, only a year ago, in their "flex" program. Even though their friendship is new, Alyssa has become a very close friend by enjoying study sessions and facing the challenges of law school together. Miranda sees them being friends for a long time through their shared passion of law.

Only three years apart, brothers Rassie and Elijah have always been close. From lying to their parents, to bar hopping in San Francisco, to fist fighting each other, and for each other; it has always been together. Through it all, they have had each others back and Elijah knows he can always count on his older brother and can't wait for him to help him down the aisle.
Erin Allah

Erin is Elijah's younger sister and she became close with Miranda, after Elijah introduced her to the family. Erin would come over to Miranda's apartment in San Francisco to hang out. Erin has even came to visits them in LA, from the Bay… including coming over for Christmas to Miranda’s parent's house. Erin is the little sister and best friend Miranda has always wanted, as they have a classic sisterly relationship… Miranda offers advice and Erin doesn’t listen ! Couldn’t get anymore sisterly, if you ask me !

As Miranda's older brother, Kennedy has known Elijah for four years. Elijah values Kennedy’s intelligence because he can always learn something new, when conversing with Kennedy. Elijah is most excited about seeing him come out of his shell at the bachelors party in Vegas. After all, it’s a trip for the boys and Elijah is going to be his main boy for years to come !

Elijah's younger sister, Evah shares the memory with Miranda from when Elijah, Miranda, and Mariposa went to Georgia to visit this past summer (2021). Evah and Miranda got a little closer and enjoyed seeing Evah be a tia to Posie. Evah was extremely excited to find out that Miranda and Elijah were having a baby. Now, Miranda gets the joy of embracing two little sisters, Evah and Erin. Plus she couldn’t be more appreciative for Evah’s acceptance to be by her side as she vows love for Elijah.
Jacob Baker

Jake is the little brother Elijah has never had. They bond over video games, basketball, and food. Jake now lives in Arizona but before he left, they were able to hang out with each other. Jake is a great Tio to Posie and Emia. He has come with the family to Disneyland for Emia's 6th birthday and ski trip to Big Bear recently where he helped Emia with her fear of skiing. Elijah can't wait till they are officially brothers.
