Antonia and Isaac met at Finding Adam Finding Eve, a monthly potluck & lecture series focused on teaching and applying St. Pope John Paul II's Theology of the Body to young adults. Antonia had just moved to Kansas City, and Isaac had just graduated from the University of Kansas. They stayed late the first night of the series, alone around the kitchen island discussing books and Antonia's wild fascination with bones. Antonia immediately had the feeling that Isaac was someone special (even if she couldn't remember his name). It took a few more meetings for the "cute curly haired guy" to ask Antonia out, but once he did, pretty quickly they both knew where this would end up. They began officially dating on the Feast of the Annunciation, began discussing marriage around 7 months in, and three days before the Feast of the Annunciation the following year, Isaac got down on one knee in the little chapel in Weston Missouri that had been the location of one of their favorite dates. They both have never been more sure of anything, and now the biggest challenge (and blessing) is waiting out the final days until they can stand on the altar together again!
