The Grove House

The Grove House

4993 5th Street, Mariposa, CA 95338
, (209) 742-9463

Where we will be partying Friday night! Mariposa's finest beer, food, and music! I hear one of the owners might even dance on the new bar!

Mist Trail & John Muir Trail Trailhead

Mist Trail & John Muir Trail Trailhead

Yosemite Valley, CA 95389

"Moderate"-Strenuous: A Yosemite gem this time of year when the waterfalls are raging! Would recommend a hike up the Mist trail and down the John Muir Trail. Easy: Another option is to hike up the Mist trail to a viewpoint of Vernal Falls and retreat down the "Horses Only" trail.

Upper Yosemite Falls

Upper Yosemite Falls

CA 95389

Strenuous: Take in the beauty of North America's tallest waterfall by hiking to the top of it! Easy: Lower Yosemite Falls trail is another great option that offers ADA accessibility and is dog friendly.

Don't let the name deter you. They have great food and even better cheesecake. They also have a nice little spa for you to soak your toesies!

Sticks Coffee

Sticks Coffee

Really good coffee, stop here on your way in/out of town. They also have a great happy hour Thursdays and Fridays. David prefers Pony Expresso.

Zephyr Whitewater Merced Office

Zephyr Whitewater Merced Office

6940 California 140, Midpines, CA 95345
, (209) 532-6249

We will be rafting with these guys on Sunday! Don't miss out on the best safety talk West of the Mississippi. “Now that’s what I call high-quality H2O.”

SIerra Point

SIerra Point

Not for the novice hiker with off trail shenanigans. Go with someone in the know to Angela's premier Yosemite Valley hike. This is the only place you can see four Yosemite Valley Waterfalls at once.

North Fork of the Merced River

North Fork of the Merced River

David and Janet's beloved hike along the Merced River Trail. This is the closest hike to the ceremony. Drive down the dirt road to the dead end of Briceburg. The trail is chalk full of wildflowers and history as it parallels the Merced River along the Ol' Yosemite Valley Railroad grade aka "The Short Line to Paradise".

Shhhhhhhhhhh...

For all the days along the way
