FAQs

The Wedding Website of Hannah Webb and Josh Lavelle
If you have questions, we have answers!
Question

When should I RSVP and what happens if I don't do it on time?

Answer

We hope you'll RSVP as soon as you can! In order to get a final head count to our caterers and make sure we have enough drinks, sweets and other accommodations throughout the night for each of you, we ask that you RSVP no later than March 16th. If you do not RSVP by this date, your RSVP will be marked as a "no" or "decline." We will miss celebrating with you, but hope you understand that we have to provide accurate numbers to our vendors as they charge per person and want to make sure we get as close as possible. If you RSVP after March 16th. Please bring a chair and a sandwich ;)

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adult-only party except for the few children within the wedding party. This is due to space within our venue, as we only have space for a select amount. We hope you'll see this as a time to get away, celebrate and enjoy the night, kid-free! We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time so that you can celebrate with us!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We are so excited to celebrate this day with our nearest and dearest! As we have a strict guest list to stay within our venue's capacity and our budget we can only accommodate those listed on your specific invitation. If you do not see a +1 opportunity or your partners name listed on the website RSVP, this means you did not receive a +1. Thank you so much for understanding!

Question

What should I wear? What is the dress code?

Answer

We want to see you dress to impress! The dress code is listed as: Black Tie Optional. This means, if you want to dress to the nines, we don't want to get in your way! Dust off that tux, and hit "Rent the Runway" for a floor-length dress, we want to see what you've got! Sport coats and suits are acceptable for men as well. Formal/Floor-length gowns are requested for ladies. The venue does have an outdoor ceremony area, so please plan accordingly with your shoes!

Question

Can we take our own pictures + videos throughout the day?

Answer

Our ceremony outside will be *unplugged*. For this, we ask all phones and cameras to be put away. We really love our photographer and videographer, (we know you will too!) and trust them to take the photos/videos for us during this time. This also keeps the professional photos from being ruined by the sight of an iPhone sticking out of the aisle or above people's heads. You are more than welcome to take pictures and videos throughout the reception! We ask that you use our hash tag #LavelleOfAParty so that we can review the photos too while we're headed off to the honeymoon!
