Luke and Sydney first met in the summer of 2015 at the summer camp they both attended as children and went on to work at as young adults. They got to talking one night during a camp wide game of redneck paintball (which is essentially a big food fight). Nothing like flirting while smelling like apple sauce, mashed potatoes and whatever else was thrown! Later that night, they sat by a fire and talked for hours and in that moment a beautiful friendship was born. They both went on to college and continued to talk everyday. In November of 2015, Luke asked Sydney to be his girlfriend. They went on to share so many memories together, graduating college, adopting pets, moving in together, and more. In July of 2022, Luke and Syd went out on what Sydney thought was an average date night. Little did she know that Luke had other plans! Luke popped the question and for a moment Sydney, who seemingly does not run out of things to say or thoughts to have, was absolutely awestruck. Luke and Sydney’s story starts out like many others, with a friendship. Above all else they are best friends, partners and equals. They are so excited and ready to start on this next chapter of their story together!
