Matron of Honor
Kumari and I met back in 2015 at Western Illinois, and we’ve been inseparable ever since. From late-night talks to life’s biggest milestones, she’s been by my side through it all. What started as a college friendship has grown into an unbreakable sisterhood. Kumari has had my back through thick and thin, and I truly couldn’t imagine this special day without her standing next to me.
Bridesmaid
Pamela and I go way back to our days at WIU, even though she swore she couldn’t stand me at first (lol)! Somehow, we’ve been inseparable since 2014, and I honestly can’t imagine my life without her. She’s the “mom” of the group, always looking out for everyone, keeping us grounded, and making sure we’re good. Her heart is huge, and I’m so lucky to have her by my side on this journey.
Bridesmaid
Me and Bella have been two peas in a pod since our WIU days, wherever you saw Bella, you saw Briana. She’s my best friend, my sister, and the one who gives me the heartiest laughs even on my worst days. Bella is the kind of person you can always count on, and she’s worn so many hats in my life: Bella the bartender, Bella the chef, and Bella the hype woman. Honestly, I don’t even know how I’d be cooking for my husband without her!
Bridesmaid
Yatti has always been my voice of reason. We met back at WIU, and from the start, she’s been the best friend I’ve always looked up to. She’s my motivator, my advice-giver, and someone who’s constantly had my back no matter what. Her words of wisdom have helped guide me through so much, and I truly credit her for helping shape the woman I’m becoming. Yatti is so important to me, and having her by my side means the world.
Bridesmaid
I remember when I first met Jayla, she instantly felt like my little sister. She’s such a firecracker, full of energy, passion, and a personality that lights up every room. Her fiery spirit means she’s never afraid to speak her mind or stand up for the people she loves, and I’ve always admired that about her. Jayla is truly selfless, always thinking of others before herself, and from day one, she’s been my sister in love. I’m so lucky to have her in my life and even more grateful to officially call her family.
Bridesmaid
I’ve only known Rallene for a short time, but it honestly feels like I’ve gained an older sister. From the moment we met, she welcomed me with open arms and quickly became someone I admire deeply. She always has the funniest stories about her and James growing up, they never fail to make me laugh! Beyond that, Rallene is incredibly selfless, wise, and full of knowledge. She brings so much warmth and light, and I’m so thankful to have her as part of this special chapter in our lives.
Bridesmaid
Spending time with Mani over the last year has made me absolutely love her, I totally see why she’s one of James’ best friends! She’s such a free spirit, full of fun and good vibes, and our friendship has grown into something so special. Over time, she’s truly become like a sister to me, and I couldn’t imagine this day without her by my side.
Bridesmaid
Omg, there’s so much I could say about Bianca! She’s absolutely the life of the party, and I love the friendship we’ve built over the years. Bianca never fails to make me laugh, and we always have the best time together. If I ever want to turn up and get a little tipsy, she’s definitely the first one I’ll call! Beyond the fun, she’s such an amazing and selfless person with a heart of gold, and I’m so grateful to have her by my side on this special day.
Mother of the Bride
Honestly, words don’t even begin to capture how much my mommy means to me. Everyone who knows me knows just how deep my love for her runs. I’m so grateful for everything she’s poured into me, for showing me what strength, love, and grace look like. She’s molded me into the woman I am today, and because of her, I feel ready to step into this next chapter as a wife. I truly can’t wait to share this special day with her. I’m forever appreciative of my mommy, my heart, my foundation, my everything.
Best Man
Issac and I go way back all the way to the first grade. What started as two kids trading snacks and racing on the playground turned into a lifelong friendship built on loyalty, laughs, and growing up side by side. From elementary school science fairs to late-night college talks and every major life event in between, Issac has always been a constant someone who shows up, holds it down, and tells it like it is (whether you’re ready or not!). There was no question who’d be standing by my side as Best Man. I’m proud to call him family because after all these years, that’s exactly what he is.
Groomsman
Kendrick is the calm in the chaos and one of the realest friends I have. We’ve been through a lot together, and I know I can always count on him for loyalty, laughs, and solid advice.
Groomsman
Omar is one of the most genuine and down-to-earth people I know. He’s the type of friend who always checks in, supports big moves, and brings good vibes wherever he goes.
Groomsman
Bryce and I met in high school and instantly clicked. Whether it’s cracking jokes or talking life goals, he always brings good energy and has been a steady presence in my corner.
Groomsman
As Briana’s brother, Jordan has been a constant source of strength and support throughout her life. His loyalty, respect, and grounded presence have made him an important part of our journey. It’s an honor to have him stand with us as we join our families together.
Groomsman
Jawaad is a thinker, a planner, and a ride-or-die type of friend. He’s been there during some of the biggest transitions in my life, and I’m grateful for his wisdom and loyalty.
Groomsman
Marquette is the definition of a solid friend. We’ve built a bond over time that’s rooted in respect, real talk, and shared ambition and I’m proud to have him standing with me.
Father of the Groom
Throughout my life, my dad has been the definition of strength, dedication, and unwavering support. As the steady provider and leader of our family, he’s led by example showing me the meaning of hard work, responsibility, and integrity. On this special day, I’m honored to stand beside him, carrying those values into my marriage. Though my mom, Janice, is no longer with us, her love, grace, and gentle spirit remain deeply rooted in who I am. She poured so much of herself into our family, and I feel her presence in every step I take today. I know she would be smiling, proud, and full of joy to see Briana become a part of our family.
